What we see, and what we never see
Plain words, no legalese. Last updated: 5 November 2026 (analytics events).
Short version: the numbers you type and the Stripe export you drop are processed only in your browser — they are never sent to us. We keep an email address only if you give it to us for the waiting list.
Things that never leave your browser
- The numbers you type on the check pages (MRR, customers, cash, costs).
- Your Stripe export (CSV) on “Your last 12 months”. It is read by your own browser and is not uploaded anywhere.
What we keep
- Your email, if you join the waiting list — plus which button you used (for example “Monthly plan”) and the date. We use it for one thing: to write once when the monthly version is live.
- How the site is used — which pages are opened, which buttons are pressed, rough location (country or city), device and browser — through Google Analytics and PostHog, only if you allow analytics cookies (see below).
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of your email.
- No advertising: every Google ad signal is switched off, and we don't build ad audiences.
- No account, no password.
Cookies and analytics
- We use Google Analytics 4 (Google) and PostHog (EU cloud, data kept in the EU). They set cookies to count visits and see which pages help.
- Outside the US nothing loads until you press “Accept” in the bar at the bottom. In the US analytics is on by default and you can turn it off.
- Change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as “Decline”.
- What analytics receives: which pages you open and how far you scroll, which buttons and links you press and where on the page, whether you started the check, which kind of answer it showed (one of three: “Fewer leaving.”, “More customers.”, “Both”), whether you loaded your own Stripe file (not what is in it), video plays, and whether you started or finished the waiting-list form (not the email itself).
- What analytics never receives: the numbers you type, your Stripe file, or any amounts the pages calculate. We cut the part of the address after “?” (where your numbers can be), PostHog doesn't record page text, and screen recording is off.
Where it is stored
The site and the waiting list run on Cloudflare; waiting-list emails are stored in our Cloudflare account. Analytics data is stored by Google and by PostHog (EU).
Removing your email
Write to us and we'll delete it within 30 days. You can also ask what we hold about you. Contact: veritess.growth@gmail.com.
Children
Veritess is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
