The rules for using Veritess

Short version: Veritess shows estimates from the numbers you type, compared with public industry ranges. It is not financial advice and it does not promise any result. You decide what to do with it.
What the numbers are, and are not
- The verdict, the 10 dots, the “levels off at” number and the 12-month chart are calculated from your inputs with simple, published formulas. They show what happens if your recent months repeat — not what will happen.
- Benchmarks are directional ranges from public reports, each with its source and date. They are not audited and not specific to your company.
- Example numbers and the sample company on these pages are made up.
Not financial, legal or investment advice
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, investment or accounting advice. Before decisions about budget, hiring, fundraising or pricing, check the numbers yourself or with a qualified professional.
Using the site
- The check pages are free and need no account.
- Don't try to break, overload or misuse the site.
- Joining the waiting list doesn't oblige you to anything. We write when the monthly version is live; you can ask us to delete your email at any time.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, Veritess is not liable for any loss arising from decisions made based on it. The site is free, so our total liability is limited to $100.
